Refund policy

We would rather get you into the right pair than keep a sale. If the fit is wrong or something is not right with the shoe, here is exactly where you stand.

30-day exchanges

• You have 30 days from delivery to exchange a pair.
• The pair must be unworn, in its original packaging, and in the condition it arrived in. Trying shoes on indoors is expected; a sole that has been outside is not.
• Exchanges are for a different size or a different style. Where the new pair costs more, you pay the difference; where it costs less, we refund it.
• If the exchange size has to be made to order, allow the usual 7 to 10 days.

Six-month craftsmanship warranty

Every pair carries a six-month warranty against manufacturing faults from the date of delivery. That covers:

• Leather or suede that cracks or splits in normal wear
• Soles separating, or stitching that comes apart
• Construction defects of any kind

It does not cover ordinary wear and tear, water damage, heat damage, scuffs, stretched leather from a poor fit, or damage from misuse or an attempted repair elsewhere. Suede in particular needs looking after — ask us and we will tell you how.

Refunds

Where a pair is faulty, or where we cannot supply a replacement you are happy with, we will refund it in full. Refunds go back the way the money came: a cash-on-delivery order is refunded by bank transfer, and we will ask for the account details in writing.

Once we have the pair back and have looked at it, refunds are processed within 7 business days.

Refusing a cash-on-delivery order

You are not obliged to accept a pair you have not paid for. If you change your mind before it arrives, tell us and we will stop the delivery. Please do let us know rather than simply refusing the courier at the door — it costs us the round trip either way, and a message means we can offer you the right size instead.

How to start

Message us with your order number and, if something is wrong with the shoe, a photo of the problem. That is usually all we need.
