About Us
Alvaro Style is a Dubai house of handcrafted loafers. We keep a small number of styles, make them in Italian leather and suede, and sell them ourselves — which is the whole reason a pair costs what it does.
Why we started
A well-made loafer in this city tends to cost either the better part of two thousand dirhams or almost nothing at all, and a good deal of the difference is the name stamped inside. We wanted the pair that sits in the gap: proper leather, a sole that survives a Dubai summer, a last that still holds its shape in year two — at a price a man can justify more than once.
So we skipped the parts that add cost without adding shoe. There is no department store taking a cut, no seasonal collection to clear, no shop rent priced into your pair. What you pay for is the material and the making.
What we make
- Verona — the suede loafer, in black, blue, brown and mustard. Warm-weather shoe, worn without socks more often than not.
- Milano — leather, horsebit, a little more formal. The one that goes to dinner.
- Elegance — the dress end of the range, in polished leather.
Every pair is handcrafted in small runs. That is a deliberate constraint rather than a boast: small runs are why a size sells out, and why we can afford to use the leather we do.
When your size is gone
We would rather run out of a size than cut corners to keep a warehouse full. If the size you need is not on the shelf, we will make it — 7 to 10 days, the same shoe, no surcharge. Sizes on the product page are marked so you always know which is which before you commit.
Getting the size right
Our shoes use EU sizing and run true to size for most feet. If you are between sizes, or you know you need a wider fit, size up.
If you would rather not guess, send us a photo of the size label inside a shoe you already wear and we will tell you which EU size to order. It takes a minute and it is the single best way to avoid an exchange.
Free 2-day UAE delivery
Two business days when your size is in stock. Orders before 2pm GST typically leave the same day, and the exact delivery charge is shown in your bag before you order.
Cash on delivery
Pay the courier when the box is in your hands. No card fees, no surprise line at checkout, and nothing charged before it arrives.
30-day exchanges
The wrong size is the real risk in buying shoes unseen, so we carry it. Tell us within 30 days and the right pair goes out to you.
6-month warranty
Stitching, soles and finish are covered for six months. Message us and we make it right.
Talk to a person
We are a small operation in the UAE, which means the person answering your message is the person who sells you the shoe. Questions about fit, leather, stock or an order in progress are all welcome.
